Paper Conservation is a very broad expanse of types and therefore, the expertise is demanding. The sample photos are of a Cherokee Nation Medical Certification dated 1903 ....this is one of a series of medical documents dating back to 1844. Each having its own unique demands to restore due to the age, wear, staining, embossing, attached gold medallions, various dyes, various signature inks and different paper, vellum or parchment types. We also offered conservation framing of this series at a reasonable cost. The client was able to make selections with our computerized framing program via emails to save some time and provide more range of framing choices. |
