This hay field is situated along Pinewood Road (at the top of the picture) just east of the Leiper’s Fork entrance to The Natchez Trace Parkway where the Parkway intersects Pinewood Road. The large rolls of hay cast long dark shadows as they lie drying in the field. These rolls, typical of the area, will soon be stored, probably in large barns, as winter feed for the many horses and cattle in this area.
