 Hourly Training Available- students who do not have the time to take off a full day or more to attend our regularly scheduled programs can book training by the hour. Student textbooks can be purchased per area of study or will be awarded as part of testing & diplomas upon completion of a required number of hours for that skill.  Oil Painting for the Developing Artist will be presented in a weekend workshop by award winning artist Jean Gauld-Jaeger, in conjunction with Tindells Restoration Schools. The beginning oil painter will become comfortable with manipulating oil paints, canvas, and brushes. The artist will learn the basics of color mixing, learn to recognize value and chroma, learn the basics of composition, and may complete a painting. Classes will be held friday evening from 6pm to 9pm, Saturday from 9am to 5pm, and Sunday afternoon from 1pm to 4pm. Students should contact us prior to the beginning of class for class requirements and setup needs. Most supplies may be purchased at our studio.  Introduction to Lampworking will be presented as a one-day class by glass artist Jose Santiseban, in conjunction with Tindell's Restoration Schools. This fun day will cover the basics of lampworking, the art of shaping glass in fire. Students will acquire the skills to create beads, ornaments and pendants as well as a strong foundation for the construction of private studios & include safety. The basics will cover techniques such as pulling stringers to draw or "dot" with, preparing mandrels for beads, working with tubing (blowing) and the incorporation of color. Opportunity to execute restoration applications will be reviewed as well. Students should contact us for class requirements and setup needs. Most supplies may be purchased at our studio.
